My musical life has always been varied. I spent 12 years of my life studying classical piano. In college, I shifted my focus to writing and performing popular music. I chose my graduate program based on a desire to become more fluent with the technologies involved in music production as well as an interest in scoring for picture. Currently, my academic work consists of a thesis on tangible music interfaces for children. Outside of school, I dedicate much of my time to writing, arranging, producing and performing with the chamber-pop group, the Fancy.
